Migrations of the Modern
Period into Germany
From the end of the 19th century until now
there took place some migration waves into the area of Germany (Deutschland).
Most of them were caused by economical plights, but one was
a result by the second world war. The latter one was the greatest
movement of a population in such a short time during history. The
states in the center of Europe changed their frontiers
and populations in a huge dimension. The presentation gives an overview
about this development, which has an effect until today.
